How the patented raised S-design works
The S-turn forces the water to turn, breaking the surface tension, allowing more water to get in than any other gutter guard on the market.
Debris can't lay flat on the gutter guard because of the raised S. That allows air to get underneath and dry it off faster than any other gutter guard, which lets small breezes carry it off the top instead of letting it pile up. An eight to ten mile an hour breeze clears it off.
It's installed at an angle that doesn't let debris make a home on the gutter.
The screen itself is surgical grade stainless steel micro mesh, carried on a frame available in aluminum or copper, with a louvered design that won't bend.
You don't need trees to get a clog
Animals love to build nests — birds, squirrels, mice — and you don't want your gutter to be the one they pick. Leaves travel a long way on the wind, too.
It only takes a leaf and a stick to block a gutter and have that gutter fill with water. And once it blocks, any other debris that falls in during the rain is going to go down to that hole and block it even more. With Valor on your home, debris doesn't get the chance to sit and build up in the first place.

Why it exists
Valor's designers set out to build something that works better than anything already on the market, specifically to slow the water down so it doesn't pour over the top the way it can with other guards. The design is patented, and Valor holds several patents on it.
